knows the art of balance. A graduate, she’s a performer, photographer, curator, manager of her own label, and all around enthusiast for experimental film, music, art and constructs of identity, proving that it’s possible to live many creative lives at the same time.  

Sophie is the co-curator for SafARI 2016, the unofficial fringe exhibition of the Biennale of Sydney. Before that she founded and ran the temporary pop-up gallery, William Street Windows, presented work at the Underbelly Arts Fesitval, and also contributed to and managed projects for Kaldor Public Art Projects, the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, Performance Space, the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection Venice, the Biennale of Sydney and Venice Biennale (for Australia in 2011 and USA in 2013). 

As a  student at UNSW Art & Design, Sophie was recipient of the prestigious Nick Waterlow Scholarship in Curating and Cultural Leadership.Â
