Artwork Title: The Dragon in the Garden
The Dragon in the Garden is a story that delves into the effects of protection becoming suffocating, resulting into the slow descent of a creature resenting its mother figure. This animation features the start of a story about a dragon be found and nurtured by a human, the animation and music reflecting the emotional journey the dragon is beginning to descend into.
My name is Allyson and I am an animator who specialises in 2D animation, however I love to experiment in the styles of animation. Subject matter I am inspired by are dreamlike sequences and fantasy settings, I always enjoy challenging myself with animating different creatures. My animation is also accompanied by my own music, where I tend to keep my animation in light tones due to my ukulele and other instruments.
