Artwork Title: Skating with the Wind

Skating with the Wind is a 1 minute and 30-second live-action anime opening using multiple video and camera techniques. It incorporates heavy use of visual effects as my main goal with this project is to critique how VFX dominates the alternative in modern video media.

Based in the Northwest region in Sydney, Bradley Lau is a final-year student at UNSW studying Bachelor of Media Arts, specialising in Animation and Visual Effects. His main passion is to influence the wider audience by building upon unique initiatives within the Creative Arts industry. Bradley has the ambition to become a leading compositor for the film, television, and gaming industry, bringing unique and out-of-the-box ideas to life. Outside of his creative career, Bradley loves playing video games, building custom keyboards, and competing in ultimate frisbee.
