Artist Statement

Patterns is an exploration into the natural world through our lens, the window. The plywood is from Bunnings and it has been laser cut on the UNSW campus.  This artwork challenges ideas of the natural and the unnatural, displaying the chaos of the natural world only through our human lens and in a very structured way. Whereas, the only true, complete picture of our world is visible through the opened window, beyond this work.
