Jordan Dempsey, Stickers, 2024, chipboard, nails, copper wire, metal clasp, roll of 500 stickers, Dimensions variable.

Stickers is an interactive work that requires audience participation. It features a roll of round yellow stickers and a piece of found chip board. The audience is prompted to place a sticker on the board or any nearby surface without any additional instructions other than my initial placement of a single sticker. The work explores spatial manipulation, the removal of artistic authority, observation, ephemerality, and time- based works, framing everyday activities as artistic performances.
