Delivered in partnership with the  (CSI) COMM3030 is available to all undergraduate students. This Work Integrated Learning (WIL) course helps you develop professional skills while working as part of a team on a real social entrepreneurship project. 

The course provides a great avenue for you to integrate theory with practice through authentic and purposeful engagement with known and respected partner organisations from industry, social enterprise and not-for-profits. 

All projects involve and inspire critical thinking, communication, teamwork, research, innovation and creativity, entrepreneurship, leadership and many other professional skills 

What sort of projects can you get involved with? Take a look at the following fields:

You can self-enrol for Term 1, Term 2, Term 3, and Summer Term once UNSW Annual Enrolment is open. 

  • Social Entrepreneurship Practicum runs during T1, T2, T3 and Summer Term and is available for self-enrolment via myUNSW. You are able to select your preference for which day(s) of the week you are available for project work.

  • This course is available to UNSW undergraduate students enrolled in a single or dual Commerce, Economics, Actuarial Studies or Information Systems program.

    To enrol, you’ll need to have met the following eligibility requirements:

    • Completed a minimum of 48 UOC at the commencement of this course
    • Be in good academic standing
    • Have room in your degree for this course
    • Have completed  (login using student-enrolment key: Career_Accelerator) OR 
      - (if you’re NOT a UNSW Business School student please email us to receive access to the modules)
    • Have an up-to-date LinkedIn profile with professional photo

    This course may count as a UNSW Business School Free Elective OR as a major elective within some majors. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that this course will count within your program requirements. It’s recommended you refer to your  and the progression plans to understand your current progression and program.
