Overview

Mission engineering is gaining popularity in addressing complex operational problems faced by defence forces and industries world-wide. Our Mission Engineering Foundation courses provide the most time-effective delivery of core concepts of mission engineering.

In today's fast-paced and complex world, industries across the spectrum, from defence to healthcare, energy, and beyond, face unprecedented challenges that demand integrated, innovative solutions. Mission engineering provides a holistic approach to tackling these challenges, ensuring that capabilities and strategies align with overarching goals in dynamic and uncertain environments.

Mission Engineering Primer Short CourseÌý

ThisÌý2 day short course will introduce you to the principles and practices that drive success in complex mission-driven activities. Through active engagement with facilitators and peers, you engage in meaningful discussion and reflect on the learning content. An additional one-day case study workshop is also available for group bookings of 6 or more.Ìý

Fundamentals of Mission Engineering Microcredential

You can choose to continue your learning beyond the short course by adding the Fundamentals of Mission Engineering microcredential to your study plans. This 8 week program delves further into the concepts of missions engineering and gives you the opportunity to consolidate your understanding and receive an accredited two units of postgraduate credit for your studies. The microcredential is taught through weekly one-hour tutorials, delivered by expert academics and industry specialists in the field. The two assignments within the course allows you to reflect on your learnings and implement your new knowledge and skills.

The Fundamentals of Mission Engineering microcredential is available to be studied for up to 12 months after completion of the Mission Engineering Primer short course. For more information contact the Short Courses team.
