As a passionate teacher, student, and researcher, I am actively engaged in the field of language education. I received my Master's degree in TESOL from the University of Bristol, which was fully funded by a scholarship, and I am currently a recipient of the UNSW international postgraduate awards for my PhD degree. Along with my research, I also teach English Language Intensive Courses for International Students (ELICOS) at a highly reputable college in Sydney. My research focuses on how transnational families manage their languages in the context of migration to Australia, and how schools impact the family's linguistic development, future goals, and aspirations.
