The UNSW Medicine Program Redesign project is undertaking significant internal and external stakeholder engagement and consultation to develop the revised UNSW Medicine Program.
Streams include:
- Updating the curriculum to incorporate emerging trends in healthcare
- Ensuring a strategic roadmap for ‘state of the art’ educational practice
- Establishment of an electronic platform for Entrustable Professional Activities
- Enhancing interprofessional education and experiential learning
- Broadening the network of clinical partners
- Review of assessment practices to reduce overall burden on students and staff and promote learning
- Implementation of peer-to-peer and formal mentoring opportunities with alumni, faculty, and industry.
