Dr Jack Barton manages Geospatial Research Innovations and Development research cluster (GRID) at UNSW and Adjunct Professor at the Far Eastern University, Philippines. He is trained as an architect and specialises in three-dimensional mapping and urban modelling applications. Jack has worked as Associate (Digital Delivery) at SGS Economics and Planning (2018-19). Jack was the Urban data and eResearch facilitator at the Australian Urban Research Infrastructure Network (AURIN)(2013-17), helping build a user community of over 7,000 users. Jack has managed his own consultancy for over 20 years, combining disciplines of research, practice and education.
