Scientia Fellow (Level B)
Arts, Design & Architecture
City Futures Research Centre

I am a data scientist and a Scientia Fellow at the City Futures Research Centre. I currently work alongside PEXA, in which my research is focussed on developing new tools that leverage machine-learning and artificial intelligence to enhance property market analysis across Australia. Prior to this, my research on developing new methods of secure and transparent automated valuation models for different land and property assets with the Commonwealth Bank. This work led to a new patent, which was commercialised and sold in 2022.

At the City Futures Research Centre, I'm a fellow in urban analytics. My interest lies in exploring how urban structures function, looking at the connections between transport, demographics, and economic networks, and how these influence urban changes like decay, renewal, and gentrification. Additionally, I am also the Regional Lead in Asia Pacific for the Colouring Cities Research Programme based out of the Alan Turing Institute in London. This programme focuses on making urban data more accessible and encouraging the collection of new data through citizen science and partnerships with official data custodians.

I received my PhD from the UCL Bartlett Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis, an MSc in International Planning from UCL Bartlett, and a BSc (Hons) in Biology from the University of Manchester.

I am open to research students with interests aligned to my own.
