The inaugural Sharing Research for Business Excellence event is a platform that presents the latest research from the ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ School of Business to government officials, industry representatives, Defence stakeholders, and the broader ACT community.

School of Business academics showcased research through various formats, includingÌýseries of lively, pre-recorded 2 minute research pitches about current and recent research projects. These pitches were complemented by research posters and displays of publications, collectively demonstrating the School's wide-ranging research capabilities and achievements.

Attendees had the opportunity to directly engage with researchers present at the event. This interaction allowed participants to inquire about the showcased research, seek potential collaborations, and explore avenues for engagement in a direct and personalised manner.

This year's showcase took place on October 27th in the Peninsula room at the National Museum of Australia. Below, you will find a selection of research outputs and photographs captured during the event.

Research Posters

The School of Business Research Showcase featured a diverse array of research posters, demonstrating the School's interdisciplinary expertise. Topics included global issues surrounding multilateral development banks, practical guidance on Australian policymaking, and innovative leadership frameworks. Other posters explored the regulation of emotions during remote work, optimising flexible working arrangements in the public sector, and the value of long-term secondments within the Australian Federal Police.

Additional research addressed risk identification in supply chains, accountability in blockchain systems, and effective biodiversity offsetting practices. Socially impactful projects included the pilot of a non-clinical palliative care respite house and an examination of stakeholder perceptions of the NDIS. This showcase reflects the School of Business’s commitment to addressing complex organisational and societal challenges.
