The discipline of Paediatrics & Child Health leads the delivery of educational and research activities aimed at the maintenance of child and adolescent health from the neonatal period until 18 years of age.

Our Paediatrics & Child Health staff have a range of research and educational expertise reflecting the interdisciplinary environment in which we work covering many aspects of paediatrics and child health.
Whilst primarily based at the Randwick Health and Innovation Precinct, our research and education networks span the nation and internationally. We teach undergraduate students at many other campuses within New South Wales. We are very fortunate to have strong partnerships with many health districts such as Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network, South Eastern Sydney, South Western Sydney, Murrumbidgee and Albury Wodonga Local Health Districts.Â
We have over 200 conjoint and adjunct staff affiliated with the discipline and work in close partnership with Children’s Cancer Institute Australia.Â
We are one of the highest performing disciplines within the School of Clinical Medicine as reflected by our research grant income, our postgraduate students and our impact on child health.Â
