Dr Kenny Travouillon completed his bachelor degree, honours and PhD here at UNSW Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences in Zoology, Palaeontology and Palaeoecology.

Kenny is now the Curator of Mammalogy at the Western Australian Museum where he specialises in the evolution of marsupials, including taxonomy (modern and fossil), functional morphology, palaeontology and palaeoecology.

"As Curator of Mammalogy, my research is now focusing more on modern mammals, and I am currently working on revising the order Peramelemorphia (bandicoots and bilbies), describing new species based on molecular and morphological data, and revising old species complexes," said Dr Travouillon.
