Salaries
Casual hourly rates for demonstrators, teaching assistants, and markers will apply according to UNSW Enterprise agreement (current rate is $59.58/hr. If the casual employee holds a doctoral qualification, the rate is $70.55/hr). Conveners are paid at 1.5 × demonstrator rates, demonstrators in charge are paid at 1.25 × demonstrator rates.

Most labs will be offered in face to face mode. There will also be online versions of the labs, requiring synchronous, online sessions. Marking of at-home and online labs are also required.
Applicants must have:
- Some practical experience in areas relevant to First Year Physics.
- Completed at least two years of a science or engineering degree.
- DICHs require experience working as a demonstrator in First Year Physics at UNSW.
- Preference will be given to applicants currently undertaking Honours or PhD in Physics at UNSW Sydney.
Hours: Up to 10 hours per week from 9am to 8pm Monday to Friday.

- Completed PHYS1221, PHYS1231 or PHYS1241with a good grade, distinction or above (unless SY grading was being used when you undertook the course).
- Preference will be given to applicants currentlyenrolled in science or engineering degreesat UNSW Sydney.
Hours: Up to1 to 2hours per week from 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday, Weeks 1-10.

- Science or engineering degree.
- Some teaching experience.
- Preference will be given to applicants currently undertaking a PhD in Physics at UNSW Sydney.
Hours: Up to 10 hours per week from 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday, Weeks 1-10.

Applicants must have:
- Some practical experience in areas relevant to Higher Year Physics.
- Science or engineering degree.
- Preference will be given to applicants currently undertaking an Honours or PhD in Physics at UNSW Sydney.
Hours: 3-4 hours per week from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday, Weeks 1-10.

- Knowledge of physics relevant to PHYS1110, PHYS1160 and GENS4015 courses.
- Science or engineering degree.
Hours: 40 hours per term for PHYS1160; 36 hours per term for GENS4015 and 35 hours per term for PHYS1110, within weeks 1-11.
