Marketing technology training workshop with Apteco

The UNSW School of Marketing, in collaboration with Apteco, successfully hosted a 1-day Marketing Technology Training Workshop on August 9, 2024. The event saw 40 marketing and marketing analytics students gain practical experience with Apteco Marketing Software.

Key figures

40 students completed the training:

  • 23 (57.5%) postgraduates; 17 (42.5%) undergraduates
  • 28 (70%) specialises in marketing; 7 (17.5%) specialises in marketing analytics

Special thanks were given to Apteco for sponsoring the workshop, and Ade Ewart (Managing Director of Apteco), and Steve Sigley (Technical Director of Apteco), whose expertise and guidance were instrumental in making complex concepts accessible and engaging for their expert training. The workshop was a resounding success, equipping students with essential marketing technology skills.

The event has been reported in 10 public LinkedIn posts, with many participants sharing their positive feedback about the workshop.

Being able to participate in this course, which offered both academic understanding and practical exposure with cutting-edge technology, was a huge achievement for me as a Business and Marketing Analyst student. I gained a better understanding of the transforming potential of data in forming marketing strategies using Dashboard and Audience Creation through the immersive training on Apteco's marketing software.
