Computational modelling is a powerful tool used to simulate complex physiological systems and their interaction with medical devices. Our research includes simulation of electrical stimulation of retina; modelling cardiac electrical activity, mechanical contraction, and blood flow dynamics; simulations of transcranial electrical stimulation and biomechanics of bones, muscles, and orthopaedic prosthetics. Many of these projects are undertaken in conjunction with extensive experimental work for model validation.
