In 2023, PGSOC upheld its core mission of nurturing a strong sense of community, prioritizing safety, and promoting well-being among postgraduate students at the School of Materials Science and Engineering. To achieve these objectives, PGSOC organized a variety of events for the postgraduate community, ensuring strict adherence to essential guidelines and restrictions. PGSOC proudly acknowedges the unwavering support of the school and Arc, as they have been instrumental in the success of the events by offering infrastructural, moral and funding support. Through the steadfast dedication and spirit of its members, the society successfully navigated challenges and maintained an environment that was supportive and inclusive for all the postgraduate students.
