ILLUMINATE Animation and Moving Image Festival

UNSW Art & Design Student Work Showcase

Personalise
ILLUMINATE Animation and Moving Image Festival hero

Illuminate 2023 UNSW Animation and Moving Image Festival is an exhibition and screening of works by students in the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation and Moving Image (formerly known as the Bachelor of Media Arts). The festival showcases more than 100 students from all stages of the program.

The artworks and projects profile the depth and breadth of practices across animation, visual effects, moving image, sound, 3D visualisation, interactive art, interdisciplinary projects, and installations. They give exploratory and experimental forms to the dynamic and vivid imaginations of this diverse group of emerging practitioners.

The School of Art & Design is proud to present Illuminate 2023 UNSW Animation and Moving Image Festival and to celebrate the creative achievements of this community. We warmly welcome you to the showcase and invite you to explore the student projects featured here in this online component of the festival.

Please be aware that some of the works featured engage with themes and imagery that may be confronting or cause distres.
