To celebrate Global Goals Week, UNSW's inaugural SDG Showcase will be taking place on Monday 23 September in the John Niland Scientia Building on Kensington campus.
This is a free, all-day event, open to students, staff and community.Ìý

UNSW Sydney is a top 10 university in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings. Our result reflects our long-standing focus on driving positive societal impact through transformative education, innovative research and partnerships with communities around the world.
But what is that work? And what impact is it really having? The SDG Showcase aims to answer that question.
This is a whole of University event designed to shine a light on the amazing work UNSW is doing to progress the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. FromÌýworld renowned research and game changing global initiatives, to everyday policy and practice changes right here on campus, this event aims to bring together the very best and brightest minds at UNSW.
We will present the work UNSW is doing to tackle these global issues and encourage participation at every level in the development of ongoing future solutions that will have an impact locally, nationally and globally, improving lives for everyone.

The main room is Leighton Hall. Some of the breakout events will be in Tyree and the Gonski room.Ìý
Doors open at 9.15am for a 9.30am morning tea and welcome speach by Professor Attila Brung, Vice-Chancellor & President of UNSW.

This will be an all-day event with a range of activity.
Over 50 exhibitors will share posters, demonstrations, simulations, videos and provide a unique opportunity for our community to speak to the experts behind the work, find out more about it and possible ways to get involved.
Over 20 short talks and presentations will take place throughout the day on the main stage and workshops and masterclasses will be hosted in neighbouring rooms.
